Gladiators irl and Gladiators ig are two different things.
One "was" real the other "is" fake
One fought with weapons (real) and the other fights with magic and prayers(still fake)
Real ones stay dead when they die and pixel ones get rezzed
Real ones are real and pixel ones are a game
Rome has it's history and Anet made a game
Real ones lived to be about thirty years old and the oldest ig character is 3+ yrs old

Wiki said it too: it were typical battles of Pairs and pairs are 2 Combatants - means 2 single Gladiators.... everything else was UNTYPICAL, but was also made, when REQUESTED.

The Point about Gladiator Title/ RA is.. there is NO Requestion.. players get all forced to make for gladiators untypical 4vs4 battles, where the standart are 1vs1 Duels or 1vsX (2-3) battles for a higher handicap.

Therefore the suggestion, that Anet should implement Gladiator Skills and make out of the Gladiator Title an own Gladiator PvP Mode similar to Costume Brawl with given balanced skill builds for each own profession, so that the game will receive finaly also a 1vs1 PvP, because it is impossible to make a balanced 1vs1 with all the existing old skills. It have to be new, extra for this mode based skills, only then there can exists in GW a balanced 1vs1 PvP Mode. And only 1vs1 with given Skill Builds similar to Costume Brawl require real gameplay skills and when it's 1vs1 it won't come with the typical problem of Leeching, because you simple can't leech in a 1vs1.

I totally support TA getting it's own title track but it may be a bit too late for that especially when you consider the time necessary in gaining glad points these days. It'd probably create more controversy than positive feedback unfortunately and thus not worth it. I'm against AB getting glad points but I would not care if they seperate FFF quests and make a new title track specifically for AB (x amount of points for winning depending on the map or whatever really.) This won't change the negative impression of AB however as evidenced by this thread.

If AB had some sort of winner-stays, loser-goes setup, it might be a workable idea, but Gladiator is about stringing up wins in a row, the mechanics of which would be tricky for AB.

AB --> 10 commander points 2 glad points 1 champ point 100 fame per kill, 40 commander points 10 glad points 5 champ points 400 fame each time some1 kills u, 100 commander points 20 glad points 10 champ points 800 fame each time 1 of ur team mates die.

You will get kurzick and luxon factions in RA, TA, HA, GvG and HB

At like 1 faction per kill and 10 factions eachtime u win a round.
